Fasteners

I purchased this part to replace one whose dowel sockets were chipped and no longer secured the part to the dowels in the door. I fear I may have to return this part due to its incompatibility with the factory configuration. This part comes with screws, rather than dowel sockets, and did not come with the fasteners to secure the part to the door. Further, it appears that the whole door card would need removal just to get inside the door to remove the dowels and secure the fasteners. Do you sell the same part with dowel sockets?

Hi Robert. These do not come with dowel sockets unfortunately. They utilize the threaded studs to make installation easier. The door panel does have to be removed for proper installation. We have videos illustrating how to remove your door panel on our youtube page, but if you elect not to tackle that, we can certainly get these back for a full refund.

Hi Karson, I've been in there a few times for the door lock actuator :(
I was hoping to avoid that again, but no worries, I'll go back in and get r done.
