Says LESS spring pressure. Should I not use these for stage 3 cams?
I thought you need stronger springs with a more aggressive cam to prevent floating a valve. The description says "less spring pressure". I take it this lets the stock cams rotate more freely? Is this NOT meant for upgraded cams?
These will be an upgrade over the stock springs and will handle up to a .600 lift camshaft. What it means on the "less spring pressure" is that the stock springs are going to be stiffer but will not support the larger cams. This means that you will have less friction and pressures on the springs in the long run and usually frees up a few pony's.
