Dipstick issue

I just finished installing this windage tray and while it does have an opening for the dipstick tube, the dipstick itself is forced to either bend outward of the windage tray or bend inward into the rotating assembly and causes a ticking sound. It took several tries, but I was able to get the dipstick to get caught outboard of the windage tray. This is using a factory Ford dipstick tube and dipstick that is original to my 1995 Cobra.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. YOU CAN'T GET ENOUGH BEND ON THE STICK. I ENDED UP INSTALLING A CANTON OIL PAN. THE DIP STICK ON IT BYPASSES THE WINDAGE TRAY - MIKE last year
