Community Q&A Question: Difference

Asking About: Mustang High Torque Mini Starter (79-95) 5.0L

The High Torque Starter PA-1806 and the SVE Mini starter LRS-11002B, what is the difference between the two, spec size and application? I have a 1990 Mustang GT with a few engine hop-ups, plus a Novi1000 supercharger. So is it required that I get the High Torque, or the SVE mini?

Upgrading to a high torgue PMGR starter would not be required. It would reduce strain on the electrical system and provide easier starts. As far as the difference, both are quality name brand, both are brand new, and both are covered by a lifetime warranty. You can't go wrong with either, but the SVE will save you a few more dollars!
