I have a 1992 foxbody with a AOD tranny ,I've read previous questions and answers but I'm still confused on the second stage of this unit, when you said "it will help your car blast off the starting line" I picture a torque converter , so does it "delay" timing until the pre-set rpm on the dial is reached ? Then when that rpm is reached full spark/timing will be activated ? Giving it the "jumping" off the line effect? If you could please clarify on that for me , thank you
The two-stage rev limiter allows you to set 2 different rev limits, one for stage/launch and one for top end rev. The stage/launch step is activated by a switch and most racers tie it in to either a line lock or trans brake activation switch.
