Community Q&A Question: correct setup

Asking About: Mustang UPR Battery Relocation Kit (79-18)

correct setup

So back in December I shaved my engine bay and was planning to relocate the battery to the trunk, I understand how to wire the upr setup but I've heard different advices from people, like to run a negative cable from the battery to the block or setup the alternator wiring harness a different way, I'm not getting in detail on that one. All I want to do is relocate the battery in the trunk have normal charging nd still run my sound system 2 12s nothing too big I already have a 3g alternator can someone suggested how?

If you wanted to run longer cable up to the front you certainly can, but it is not required. You can locate proper grounding in the back of the car for this kit and it function just fine.
