Difference between X-pipe and H-pipe exhaust

Need to install Cat exhaust in my '90 coupe. I have a 331cid Windsor with BBK Shorties; the engine is backed by a T56. What is the difference in perfomance between the H-pipe and X-pipe exhaust?
Also, the photo for this product doesn't show exhaust hangers or emissions tubes; does the kit contain hardware to hang the exhaust?
How is this system emmissions legal without an EGR return tube?

There isn't really a performance difference. The main difference is sound. The X pipe will have a more exotic raspier tone, where the H pipe will be deeper and smoother. That is a stock photo, but this does include the welded hangers and it also has the smog tube. Hardware is included.
