RPM Range

In an answer to one of the other questions you state that the RPM range is 1500-6500. I assume the car doesn't idle at 1500 RPM's but can you clarify what that means?

Your factory rev range provides power from the 1500rpm-6500rpm range. For folks that have higher flowing heads/cam combo intended for higher RPM use, there are intakes out there intended to aid in higher RPM flow over the 6500rpm range, but they sacrifice some of the lower end RPM range. If you are shifting at or below 6500 rpm, this intake is a good choice.
