Community Q&A Question: my car eats front tires

Asking About: Mustang Maximum Motorsports 4 Bolt Caster/Camber Plates (94-04)

my car eats front tires

I've had my 96 gt convertable aligned several times. I know that this car was in a fender bender before i bought it. Will installing caster camber plates allow it to be aligned properly and quit eating tires? I don't plan on lowering it.

Yes, these will help the alignment tech to properly set the caster and the camber to the proper spec's. I would recommend to have them installed by a professional and have the car aligned as well after the install. If the car is not lowered and is "eating" tires you may have some suspension components wearing out that are causing the alignment to be off.
