44cc or 38cc Kit?

I have a 2001 GT auto with a complete exhaust (shortys ,off-road H & cat-back), cold air intake, and pulleys. I am wondering which kit would work best for my application the 44 or 38 kit? Also I plan to get an aftermarket intake manifold, larger TB & Plenum, 24lb or 39lb injectors, and a fuel rail kit when I install one of these kits.

Thanks.

You want the 38cc for sure. I do not know why sites do not list That why. You can use 44cc but will get more power and slightly higher compression with 38cc. Trickflow site has the only correct info and have to look to find it. 44cc made for 96-98 4.6 2v. The 38cc are made for 99-04 PI 4.6 2v motors. Besides obvious PI manifold difference there is a difference in pistons non PI to PI. - Brian last year

also no need to go over 30lb injectors with out some type of power adder supercharger or Turbo. 24lb would be perfect with the upgrades manifold plenum and 70mm Only go 75 if Nitrous injected or plan to add more power someday. throttle body recommended. Nitrous does not make a difference on injector size cause you should only ever use a wet kit on these motors. - Brian last year

For your set-up I would go with the 44CC heads. This will be close to the stock volume compared to your stock 2V PI heads. With you set-up this is all that you will need. This is an awesome option to go with for the 2V cars, and will be a noticeable difference.
