Community Q&A Question: weatherstripping

Asking About: Mustang Door To Body Weatherstrip (79-93)

bought these for more doors, and now my doors are extremely hard to shut. So i also replaced my door hinge bolts because they were also bad. Didn't make a difference. The weatherstripping seems to fat, it seems to be getting pinched between the metal to metal area to the left of the weathering stripping and to the right of the door hinges. Any reason why?

Anytime new weatherstrip is installed, it takes a bit of time for it to "learn" the car for lack of better terms. Once its been on the car a few weeks and breaks in, the doors will become easier to close. Letting it sit in the sun will speed up the process.
