Offset/Non-Offset Bushings

I own an 89 LX convertible with a 5.0. In what instance would I need offset or non offset bushings with my new rack?

Offset rack bushings are normally used on lowered cars to help correct some of the steering geometry that gets altered when it is lowered. Depending on how low you go, offset rack bushings may not fix it 100%. In extreme cases where multiple suspension or steering components have been changes I.E race springs, SN-95 Spindles etc. it may be necessary to run a bump steer kit as well.
