I have a 1989 convertible Mustang that I am currently building a 331 stroker engine for. The stroker kit is using flat top pistons. I want to run AFR heads. Are these a good choice, or should I use a 165? I am using a GT40 upper and lower intake. I do not have a cam, are there any reccomendations?

Honestly that intake would choke down that motor considerably. They barely kept up to 302 cubic inches. Depending on what kind of HP you are looking for, the TFS top end kit is a easy 375 HP on a 331 with good compression.
