Cold hard starting on 92 LX 5.0

Want to know if anybody can give me ideas to a cold hard starting on my 92 5.0 manual? It has a hard cold start as if takes a while to start, many turns and finally starts. Then idle would go up and finally down after a heating up a bit. Then on warm engine it would start normally. During driving it drives good, no idles issues, bucking, etc. Perhaps its my EGR valve, Idle air control motor or even the TPS? please help

If this is defective on your car, you should have a check engine light. I would verify you are getting fuel properly and make sure the iac is functioning, and the mass air meter is clean.

Ok I did check fuel and is getting fuel properly and have checked the iac, also cleaned the mass air meter as well. So that leaves me with TPS. You highly think is the TPS and recommend the BBK TPS? thanks - Donovan last year

If this fails, you should see a check engine light. If your getting that, I would check the code and validate it is indeed the TPS sensor. If it is, this is a quality piece and I have ran it on several cars over the years with no issues.
