have 2008 GT500 with Whipple 2.9 blower along with many upgrades. The car makes about 800 HP at the crank, 640 rear wheel mustang dyno. Higher on a dynojet. By adding this sensor will I need to go back on the dyno to calibrate. By using this sensor will there really be a change to car like increased HP.
As far as this being necessary for your car or not, I would contact the dyno tuner that tuned your car to see how the existing mass air meter is performing. This is recommended for applications where the factory maf is pegged or maxed out. This is typically only recommended when the factory unit is maxed out in order to provide proper tuning.
