Fitment on 1993

I would like to use this wheel and a 315/35/17 tire on a 1993 LX coupe that has 5-lug conversion. Is the 6.83 offset sufficient? What I don't want is a lot of rim and tire hanging outside the wheel well. The vehicle is also lowered with full exhaust system.

If you are running bullitts on the front already, then it has sn95 brakes. The front hub on a basic 5 lug conversion sticks out too far, and wont allow a bullitt wheel to bolt up. It requires use of 94-04 brakes also referred to as SN95.

I purchased this car last summer with the aftermarket bullitts on it. This also answers what five lug conversion is on it. Thanks - Ken last year

These will require the SN95 style 5 lug conversion. As for fitment with that tire, several of us have ran that combo before. The offset is sufficient and will not stick out, but you will have to eliminate the quad shocks. roll the fender lips, and massage the inner fender well in a bit for clearance. Depending on what catback you are running, the tailpipes sometimes have to be tweaked a bit to clear the tire as well. The lower you go, the more clearancing will be required.

What is the difference between a sn95 and the 5 lug conversion listed in the 79-93 section? They both s/b a 4.5" bs. I have the OE (not OEM) manufactured Bullitt wheels on it now. 17x8 in size. - Ken last year
