I own a stock 2006 Mustang GT and thinking of replacing the original fuel injectors. I want to know what to replace them with, good replacements and reasonably priced. Second question, will the car need a tune up and/or adjustments when the fuel injectors are replaced?
On a stock Mustang, these injectors will be way too high of an output. The factory fuel injector is a 24lb injector and if you think they are failing, you will need to stick with that size. The fuel injector Ford used on these cars is pretty darn reliable. We have had several high mileage cars still running factory injectors and holding up just fine. I wouldn't recommend replacing them unless you have determined they are bad.
