Shorty antenna range.

In this case size matters. How much will this shorty reduce antenna range?

Save your money. Not really worth it I put my stock antenna back on. Looks cool but you will notice loss of reception! - Chester last year

I agree. Here in Detroit, I have this on my car with a Kenwood head unit. I didn't notice any change in reception. I was quite surprised. Also, I'm able to put my car cover on it without remove the antennae.

I did not notice any decrease in listening range or quality of reception with this antenna. Really helps with the looks of the car!

I have one on my 98 and have noticed no difference. I still pick up all my favorite stations.

Surprising, very good to know thanks for your input it is much appreciated, Just picked up a 2000 GT for $2500.00, less than 200 miles on a rebuilt motor, heads were boiled, new clutch, new master and slave cylinders. Lowered, no sheet metal damage at all a few rust spots on the roof. Exhaust is in very good shape and sounds awesome, aftermarket but not sure which one yet. . Interior needs a little work no major rips. What gets me the most right now is the antenna is missing. The car runs great. Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow and start in on her.

I had no reception issues on my 2003 Mach 1. You might be surprised how well your reception is even when removing the antenna all together. I know I was. - Mathew last year
