Sarah Vidrine - 2007 Ford Mustang GT

Meet Roxy!! This 07 GT started as a daily driver I bought myself as a college graduation present in May of 2007. I love this car and she has been a labor of love. Now she is mainly a weekend driver and bracket racing monster. Over time she has turned into tire frying beast!

The 4.6L engine has been tweaked, tuned, and just recently juiced. She is sporting a JLT CAI system with custom ram air, custom SCT tune, and a NX Plate System with a 100 shot.

We swapped the sloppy stock shifter out for a MGW adjustable shifter. No more missing 3rd!! I destroyed the clutch after about 35,000 miles and 2 seasons of heavy drag racing. So in went a Spec Stage 3 clutch. This thing is a workout!!

The stock gears were swapped with 3.73s. The rear end was stiffened up with lower control arms and an adjustable 3rd link from BMR.

No mustang is complete without an exhaust! Roxy is currently running a Bassani X pipe with Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers. My husband bought me a set of Pacesetter Long Tube Headers for Christmas. Those will be going on next month and the cats will be coming off. I am hoping for a serious growl to match her bite.

The body has been upgraded by adding front and rear California Special bumpers. The quarter windows are covered by CDC C Pillar scoops. The stock hood was replaced by a Tru Fiber concept hood with functioning ram air. AND the grills were swapped out with Street Scene satin mesh.

The interior has numerous billet upgrades. The dash is sporting custom blue piping and a signature from the one and only Jack Roush. The rear seat has been deleted for a kit from Schrader Performance. The trunk has received some love too with a custom mat and 10LB NX bottle.

The brakes were upgraded to EBC slotted and dimpled rotors with Yellow Stuff pads. Finally no more brake fade!

Traction was increased with a set of Nitto 455s in the rear and Nitto Invos up front. Weekend track tires are 17 inch Mickey Thompson ET Streets.

Roxy's best 1/4 mile to date is a 12.53 on a 75 shot. I am expecting low 12s and possibly high 11s with a 100 shot and custom tune.
