Mark Whiteside - 1983 Ford Mustang GT
Bought this car about 20 monthes ago, the previous owner had road raced it. the color was maroon,& the interior was all red! (Lousey Combination) The suspension is totally new & reworked for a road coarse. It had a 347 stroker in it as a race motor. After i purchased it i drove it for an entire summer just to see if it had any bugs in it. Once winter set in, i diassembled the entire car. I bought an 86 GT for some interior parts, such as seats & a steering Wheel. I had to do some repairs on some of the plastic trim panels. I rhino lined the entire floor panels for sound deadening, then install new dyna mat as well. An entire color change and all new upholstery from top to bottom was done. The car only had 56,000 original miles on it, and was kept inside most of it's life. Rust was at a bare minimum, but it had many small dings & dents & someone had put an amature paint job on it. Being a bodyman my entire life , i stripped it comepletely & restored it to show condition with new Dupont basecoat, clearcoat paint, color code ford G2 , fire red metallic. The entire rubber kit was replaced with all new. The car runs & drives like it is brand new.
