Jeremy Kieler - 1979 Ford Mustang
It's been a long project and I have been doing my best to document it on blogspot: http://1979-93mustangrestoration.blogspot.com/
Everything has been replaced except the dash and wire harness. Nothing is stock on this 1979 Ford Mustang. It was my first car and I was going to replace the body but had trouble finding another 1979 Ford Mustang, so we sectioned it to get rid of rust and other damage. There isn't a bolt that has gone un-turned. In my life time I have probably had the car completely stripped down 4 times. I bought it for $150.00 when I was in the state's care at that time it was very neglected and sitting in an older lady's backyard under a maple tree Canary yellow with, sunk down in the mud to the lug nuts, and front bumper was rotting off it. Moss was on the rear quarter windows. My dad I got it running first day I blew the brake lines and ran into the back of his truck trying to commute it home. After lines were fixed. I drove it across the United States from WI to my duty station in Fort Hood Texas. used it for a few year their then received orders to go to Germany. I drove the car back to Wisconsin and stored it on the farm while I was gone. Now the goal is to turn it into an AutoCross Car and finish the body work. I am thinking a two tone Yellow and silver color scheme with and racing theme. I resurrected this car from the dead and never got rid of it. Although I really probably should have gotten a new body, but living in Wisconsin my options are very limited due to Salt and chemical erosion. Plus all the salvage yards tend to only keep Chevy's up here. Each day the car looks better and better.
