Sean O'Brien - 1987 Ford Mustang LX Coupe
Found her in a barn in Great Falls, MT, sunk into the ground and under a haystack. Had no engine, transmission, or wheels and tires. Drug it home and two years later I got it driving, using whatever I could source, all funded by a minimum wage wallet. She earned the nickname 'Frankenstein' because of the different parts that are on it. Just so you get the idea:
Fuel tank: 1979 Mustang
Sending unit: 1988 Bronco
Suspension: 1987 Mustang GT coupe
Front/rear bumper: 1989 Mustang LX convertible
Front seats: 1988 Mustang GT
Anyway, you get the idea. Here's the kicker: all in, including two engines, several parts cars and various odds and ends, I'm only in it $3,000! So, I don't want to hear anything about how the car hobby is too expensive to get into! But one day, I hope to get the frame straightened out, new suspension and drivetrain, and make it the fastest daily-driven Fox on the planet. Someday...
