Abbott Cable X - Digital to Cable Speedometer ConverterKeep your factory 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang speedometer working while adapting to a modern transmission that uses a digital speed signal with the help of Abbott's Cable X speedometer adapter. One of the bad parts when swapping out your factory transmission for a modern unit is that they no longer use a cable-driven speedometer but a digital speed sensor. This created a problem if you wanted to keep your original speedometer working, as there was no way to make the two work together until the Cable X adapter. Abbot's adapter allows for a digital speed sensor input and converts it to a mechanical output to work on the traditional speedometer. The simple adapter is housed in a metal case with only three wires needing to be hooked up and then attaching the adapter cable to your speedometer. Adjustments to the speedo are made using a series of dip switches. You can adjust the MPH of your speedo, gears, and tire sizes to really dial in your MPH.
