Product Description

Bilstein B8 Series Front Strut
Upgrade the suspension on your lowered 1987-2004 Mustang by replacing the front struts with Bilstein's heavy-duty B8 series strut found on the 2000 Cobra R! Featuring soft compression valving, this monotube gas B8 strut is designed for increased traction and enhanced stability while maintaining a superior ride quality! This strut is the perfect upgrade for those who have lowered their Mustang with a set of lowering springs.

Bilstein Quality
Through rigorous testing and development, Bilstein has designed this strut to exceed OE standards while maintaining a factory fit and finish. When this strut was designed for the Cobra R, the spindle mounting holes were relocated to provide additional negative camber. Softer than usual compression valving was utilized in an effort to reduce understeer. Bilstein's patented monotube design provides heat dissipation that reduces fade. Bilstein tests every shock and strut on a dyno before leaving their factory to ensure the quality meets their high standards.

Fitment Note
  • Not recommended for use with coilovers due to the soft compression valving.
  • Dust boot not included.
