Borla's patented multicore design, ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), produces the highest available decibel levels in their street series lineup. The main focus is to get the highest volume while retaining sound clarity and avoiding obnoxious distortion found in other S197 axle back kits. Borla compares this to a musician's graphic equalizer, and when you hear it, you'll agree. All of this is acquired without sacrificing performance.

Borla's 2011-2012 Mustang 5.0 axle back exhaust is hand constructed with high quality, 300 series, austenitic stainless steel. This aircraft-quality steel is built for durability, corrosion resistance and long-lasting, great looks. This mandrel bent exhaust ends up in a pair of mirror finish, polished stainless tips that are a whopping 4.5" in diameter! This will fill out your rear valance like no other exhaust out there.
