This driveshaft from The DriveShaft Shop is lighter and stronger than the factory 2-piece shaft, coming in at only 25 pounds! Shedding rotational weight greatly improves your Mustang's acceleration and quarter-mile times. Constructed of high-quality aluminum, this shaft features a beefy 1350 forged aluminum front u-joint with flange, which mounts directly to the transmission. A high-speed precision ground CV joint with chromoly internals fits directly inside the pinion flange just like the factory along with a Spicer 1350 u-joint makes a durable combination. This lightweight, 1-piece driveshaft is 3.5" in diameter which avoids interference that can happen on lowered Mustangs equipped with a 4" shaft. DSS rates this driveshaft up to 1000+ horsepower!
