Increase horsepower and torque in your 1979-95 Mustang with these Edelbrock Performer cylinder heads! These aluminum heads will work on 5.0 and 5.8 applications. They feature a larger 2.02 intake valve and accept factory style pedestal mount rocker arms. The intake and exhaust runners are CNC-machine profiled for superior flow and performance. Edelbrock is a name you can trust for quality and performance for your Mustang!

This cylinder head pair is intended as a direct replacement for the factory heads. All emissions related factory
components are to be retained and functional. The cylinder heads are, therefore, legal for street use in all 50 states, and no C.A.R.B. E.O. number is required. Check local laws for requirements.

    I bought a set of these heads second hand but we're brand new in the boxes along with a performer rpm intake and Holley street avenger 607 carb. Rebuilt the engine with a Summit Racing 030" over bore rebuild kit featuring Sealed Pro hypernuetic flat top Pistons. Scorpion Racing 1.6.1 full roller pedestal mount rockers and Comp Cams stock length push rods. Paired with the FRPP E303 cam, BBK full length ceramic coated headers and off road H pipe. Swapped in a 8.8" rear out of a 86 with 3.27 gears and fresh traction loc, bought a set of Saleen SC staggered satin wheels and Nitto Extremes, after 1000 miles break in, I hammered on it and really impressed with this combo. After it hooks up, it pulls hard. Always admired Edelbrock products and the quality is out standing. Steel threaded inserts at every bolt location so stripping the aluminum is not an issue. I was Leary of the pedestal mount rockers but not anymore. Don't hesitate to buy these heads. I was able to save a lot of money but they are worth every penny to me. I'm a Edelbrock and LMR customer for life.
