Exedy Ultra-Fiber Organic Material
Exedy has designed the Ultra Fiber material for Mustang owners that are looking to improve disk holding capacity without as much chattering that kevlar clutches can exhibit. The organic material was developed with a specific ratio of copper wire and high-strength fiber. This organic-facing material provides superior half-engagement feeling specific to organic clutches with improved heat resistance.
Exedy's organic racing clutches are made with premium friction materials to help resist slippage. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. These clutches have spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock for a smoother operation.
