JLT Mustang Brake Cooling Kit w/ Black Anodized Bezels
Keep the brakes in your 2013-14 Mustang GT or V6 cooler a JLT Brake Cooling Kit from LatemodelRestoration.com! These kits use 2.5” brake cooling ducts to route cooler air to your brakes. This cooler air allows your Mustang’s brake components to perform better and longer during autocross, SCCA & road course track days.
Keeping your Mustang’s brake system cooler is done with the JLT black anodized bezels that mount to your front bumper. These bezels allow air to flow into the cooling ducts and directly onto your rotors. JLT’s Brake Cooling Kits include an aluminum backing plate that mounts directly to your Mustang’s brakes. This backing plate forces the cooler air into the center of your brake rotors for even brake cooling.
Fits Mustang 5.0L GT & 3.7L V6
Bezel Installation Does Requiring Cutting A Hole In Your Lower Grille
I recently bought the JLT Brake Duct Cooling Kit and I am happy with the results! Looks good and is very functional but the fit was tight. When trying to fit the ducts onto the grille bezel was extremely tight. I had to trim part of it and the images on the directions were poor but I figured it out.
I also did quite a few checks to make sure once I had the ducting mocked into place properly, it wouldn't hit my wheels when at full crank either direction (I have LRS SVE 18x10 Drifts). This definitely will make a difference on the track, its be proven and that is why the Leguna Seca's have a brake cooling setup as well.
This is a great product with quality materials that will last. Just make sure you have everything tightened securely and you have clearance! Absolutely worth the money and time for install!
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

This is a perfect kit to add brake duct cooling for a reasonable cost. It works just like the boss brake cooling system that came standard from Ford.
I was worried about clearance issues at full-lock but i have no rubbing issues and i am running a 19x10 front wheel with a 285/35 tire. Hopefully this will be useful to some.
Will you notice a feel in pedal or grab when street driving? No, do not expect that. Will it make a different on track if you actually auto-x / road race your car? Perhaps, but i have not yet tried myself so i cannot speak for that. My opinion is that it would help with the overheating/fading of the brakes since the JLT routes the air into the veins of the brake rotors.
In my attached photo, i had not tightened the zip ties for the lines yet. It fits snugly against the sway bar. It will work with aftermarket sway bars as well.
