(1) Negative Battery Cable

Mustang Negative Battery Cables
Old, corroded cables cause many problems including no-start conditions. While the factory original Motorcraft negative battery cable is no longer available, this aftermarket cable fits the bill quite nicely. It is the proper length & has pre-terminated crimped ends for a long service life.

Fitment Note
Some cars came with different length negative cables depending on if it was V8 or 4cyl Applications. This cable is 22" long which is the most common application.

Application Note
-Will NOT fit CFI/EFI applications.
-On 1985 Models the negative cable will need to be spliced to accommodate for the extra ground wire.
