1994-97 Mustangs are notorious for having the factory dash clock malfunction. Be sure you are on time by replacing your malfunctioning clock with this direct Ford replacement. This is the OEM Ford replacement clock found in the middle of the dash top of 1994-1997 Ford Mustangs. It includes black housing with hour and minute adjustment buttons and digitally illuminated clock face.
Excellent part. However, it has one glaring deficiency, that is, the lense over the display is smoked dark, The lense in the dash pod is also smoked dark. This renders the new clock display nearly invisible. I have returned it for a refund. What good is a new clock module if you cannot see the display. Please note that the OE clock module, made in Canada, has a clear lense over the display.
Late Model Restoration needs to return their stock and source a module with a clear lense over the display.
We apologize that you are having issues with this clock. As you stated this is an OEM ford replacement part. Whenever we place orders for them this is the parts they send to us. Please expect a call from a customer service representative on the matter shortly.

Works great with a little adjustment

I ordered the new clock and yes it had a dark/smoke window but when the old clock was removed it did not have a window. Clock was installed as is and of course it was not very visible I was careful not to break the plastic tabs. After much consideration I removed the smoke window since the factory clock did not have that window; once this was done it was identical. All you need to do is cut the sticker (don't break the plastic tabs) open up and remove the smoke window and eureka it is perfectly visible.
