Lightweight Aluminum Driveshaft

This lightweight driveshaft is a 1 piece shaft with a 3.5" diameter and .125" wall thickness for serious strength and durability. It's smaller than other 4" diameter driveshafts making it a perfect fit under your lowered S197. This beefy new design takes the worries away from breaking the stock 2-piece shaft and gives you a smooth, vibration free ride. Fits automatic and manual transmissions. Includes flange.

Clearance Note
This driveshaft features a smaller diameter shaft compared to many other aluminum driveshafts on the market. This is intended to give you better clearance and avoid rubbing on lowered vehicles. As with all lowered S197 Mustangs, be sure to check pinion angle during your installation process. This not only avoids premature wear, but also helps ensure you will have proper clearance for your driveshaft.

Loose 10 lbs over stock drive shaft
New DT shaft 18.6 lbs old POS shaft 28.4 lbs and no issues at all after installed thanks JAY W. And LMR...

I just installed my new DT shaft and the it fit perfect the silp joint is very tight because it's new the old p.o.s shaft weights in at 28.4 lbs and the DT shaft weight in at 18.6 lbs. you'll loose 18 lbs total thanks again LMR you guys rock and my 2014 v6 is a faster horse now!!!!
