Mustang Front Main Seal Repair Sleeve
Got a leaking rear main seal on your 1979-2014 Mustang motor? This rear main seal repair sleeve can help make the fix! Over time, rubber seals can wear slight grooves into the metal seal surface, which can cause oil to leak from the rear of your motor, where the transmission meets the motor. This Redi-sleeve repair kit easily installs onto your motor's output shaft with the included installation tool to make for a smooth mating surface for your new seal. Simply slide the sleeve onto the shaft and place the installation tool onto the sleeve. Slightly hammer the top of the tool to push the sleeve down to the bottom of the shaft. Once it has hit the bottom, you are ready to install the new seal and get your transmission reinstalled. This kit includes one sleeve and one installation tool.
