Royal Purple HMX Oil
This Royal Purple HMX 10w30 engine oil change kit is a great kit for 2004 and older vehicles with 75,000 of more miles. The HMX oil is made from a robust zinc/phosphorus anti wear additive and Synerlec additive technology. This combination minimizes wear and restores lost engine performance. It is chemically enhances to restore hardened seals, reducing oil consumption that is common in higher mileage engines. Features detergents that removes engine deposits and maintain cleanliness to help improve engine longevity. This kit includes 6 quarts of Royal Purple oil and 1 Ford Racing oil filter.

Synerlec Technology
This state of the art Synerlic technology provides an exceptional film strength by reducing friction for peak engine performance. It provides superior oxidation resistance to safely extend oil drains. Helps minimize start-up wear.

Ford Racing Oil Filter
Synthetic-Polymer/Cellulose-Fiber blend media. Heavy gage base and canister for higher burst strength and impulse fatigue resistance. High quality silicone anti-drain back valve. Non-stick sealing gasket for ease of installation and removal. Long life with standard and synthetic motor oils. Up to 50% more filtering capacity then standard filters. Improved filtering efficiency. This technology is only available through Ford Racing Performance Parts.

5 Stars   It's Royal Purple, Nuff Said

My original engine in the 1998 Mustang GT has 160k, it runs well and no leaks. I like to run good oil, Royal Purple is one of the best. This oil has additives in it, like zinc, that help with high mileage engines. I can definitely tell a difference in engine noise, it just seems smoother with this oil, compared to conventional or even the regular Royal Purple that I was running previously. As always LMR shipped it out in a reasonable time, even with the delay for back ordered. I am not sure if the filter is made by Purolator like the Motorcraft filters, but it feels like quality, and if it is Purolator it should be quality.
