Product Description

Shelby GT350 Oil Change Kit
This kit includes everything that you need to change the oil on your 2015-2017 Shelby GT350. Ten quarts of Motorcraft 5W-50 Full Synthetic Oil and one Motorcraft FL-2069-ST oil filter. This is the factory recommended oil and filter that Ford installs, so you can rest assured that your engine has the protection that it needs!

Motorcraft Quality Components
The Motorcraft 5W-50 oil is an API certified, specially formulated, multi-viscosity grade oil designed for use in the 5.2L Voodoo engine in your Mustang. The Motorcraft FL-2069-ST oil filter is specially designed for the GT350 to help protect against engine wear by screening out abrasives, such as carbon, sand, dust and bits of metal before they can enter your oil.

A pressure-relief valve in the filter helps minimize the chance of contaminated oil circulating back into the engine while also helping to maintain the supply of oil to the engine under extreme cold conditions or clogging. A silicone anti drain back valve helps prevent oil from draining out of the filter and engine when the engine is not running.

Fitment Note
This oil filter is specifically designed for the 5.2L engine and will not fit the 5.0L, 2.3L or 3.7L engine.

Shelby GT350/R Oil Filter Socket
The Shelby GT350 and GT350R require the new oil filter to be torqued down after an oil change. This is due to the harmonics that the flat plane crank engine generates. If the oil filter is not torqued down, the filter will vibrate and fall off. This oil filter socket will make things easier by allowing you to properly torque the oil filter down. The socket attaches to any 3/8" drive torque wrench and provides multiple contact points for a secure fit. Constructed with high strength alloy, this filter socket is built to last.

Fitment Note
This oil change kit fits engines built February of 2017 and earlier. Engines built after February 2017 had cartridge style filter. Please check your engine prior to purchasing.

Installation Note
The Shelby GT350/R oil filter must be torqued to 18 lb/ft.
