5.0 Resto Lower Shift Boot w/ Metal RingInstall a fresh lower shift boot in your manual-equipped 1979-2004 Mustang with this 5.0 Resto shift boot to keep out fumes, heat, and dirt. The Mustang lower shift boot can become worn by the constant heat from the exhaust and movement of the shifter between gears. The purpose of the lower shift boot is to reduce noise and prevent foreign material from entering the passenger compartment by sealing the shifter hole in the floor pan. Whether you are installing a new shifter or refreshing your interior, a new lower shift boot is a small part that makes a big difference.
Quality ConstructionMade from a molded rubber construction in the correct black finish, you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference from an OE boot. With the correct accordion style, the boot easily flexs and won't stretch and tear from normal use. 5.0 Resto installs a metal trim ring that sandwiches the boot to your floor pan for a proper installation.
