1979-1993 Mustang Electric Fan Conversion Kit
Easily improve the cooling efficiency and the performance of your 1979-1993 Mustang with this electric fan conversion kit! The factory cooling fan on your Mustang is connected to a fan clutch that is attached to your water pump. This design causes a parasitic loss due to the engine having to spin this entire assembly. This economy electric fan conversion kit was designed to eliminate the factory clutch fan setup with two slim 12" dual electric fans and a lightweight aluminum shroud to not only free up extra weight and space under the hood but to keep your street-driven Mustang cool! To properly control the electric fans an adjustable fan controller with a range of 150-240 degrees Fahrenheit to dial in your cooling system. The thermostat housing included in this kit features a removable plug to insert the fan controller probe. To complete the installation of the unique thermostat housing, a new 180-degree thermostat is included. To finish off the bright aluminum theme underneath the hood a polished stainless 14oz overflow tank is included to transform the looks of your engine bay! A custom overflow tank mounting bracket is included to ease the installation of the overflow tank onto the fan shroud.
