2011-14 Coyote A/C Tensioner Kit
We have all heard of the common engine "tick" that comes from the engine bay of the 11-14 Ford Mustangs. S197 5.0L Mustangs use a "stretchy belt" on the A/C compressor with no tensioner at all and belt must be cut for service. Ford has recognized that this is a bad design and released this kit to remedy it. This A/C tensioner kit includes a new belt, new tensioner, and all the necessary hardware to make this installation a breeze.
- Fits 2011-2014 Ford Mustang Coyote
- 2011 Applications: LRS-6019GA is necessary to complete the conversion. 2011 5.0L did not have the mounting point for the tensioner machined, drilled, and threaded.
I got this just to attempt to fix the tick noise I had, if it didn't work at least I had a better system that made it easier to change the ac belt since itll have a tensioner now. But so far I haven't heard a single tick since I installed it. It was a very easy install. I wasn't sure which way to install the one pulley, but I put it on with the thick lip toward the motor and it seems to be all lined up.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

Does away with stock belt makes better setup overall

Couldn't really find any install instructions was lucky enough to find a diagram online of how f-150 engines are setup and used the same configuration. Even if it does nothing I still like this setup a lot better.
