Mustang LED bulbs put off a more pure, focused light instead of the dingy lights that come from the factory. This ensures you are seen day or night without blinding the vehicles in front of or behind you. These bulbs have excellent heat dissipation, so you do not have to worry about melting or burning your lens. This kit includes the front turn signal bulbs, rear brake/turn signal bulbs, reverse light bulbs and all resistors. Headlights, fog lights, license lights and third brake light are not included.

Turn Signal Resistors
When installing exterior LED bulbs on your 1996-04 Mustang, load resistors must be used on the turn signal bulbs for them to properly flash. The resistance of LED bulbs is much less than with a standard bulb. As a result, your turn signal will “hyper flash” or blink at a very excessive rate similar to when a bulb is blown. The solution is to install a load resistor to simulate the resistance of a factory bulb. Due to variations of wiring harnesses used over the span of these vehicles, we recommend use of a volt meter or test light to determine which wires are the +positive and –negative.
Depending on what vehicle you are working on, there will be two types of bulb connectors you will be presented with. The most common will be a simple 2 wire plug with a positive and negative wire. This is very straight forward as you need to simply use the provided wire taps to connect one end of the resistor to the positive, and one end of the resistor to the negative. The other type of connector you will find is a 3 wire style connector. For this, we recommend using a volt meter or test light to verify which wire is positive and which is negative. Once these are determined, the same process applies. Simply connect one end to the positive and one end to the negative with the supplied wire taps. This process is done on both the left hand and right hand side of the vehicle.
