Product Description

Tremec 5-Speed Extra HD Transmission
Ensure your Mustang can handle all the power it's putting down with this Tremec TKO600 transmission! The M-7003-R58H is equipped with a 26 spline input shaft and a 31 spline output shaft. Designed to be a replacement of the earlier model TR-3550, the TKO has been significantly upgraded, making it more robust, flexible and versatile. The TKO600 is ideal for high-performance racing applications. The TKO 600 will require the (M-6392-R50) Ford Performance bellhousing, a (M-4841-A) Ford Performance 31 spline driveshaft yoke and a 10.5" clutch disc (M-7550-T302) that is designed for the use with a 26 spline input shaft. This is a perfect upgrade for any Fox Body Mustang, SN95 Mustang or New Edge Mustang!

TKO600 Features
-Higher center distance (83 mm) from main shaft to counter shaft allows for larger gear sizes and higher torque carrying capacity.
-Robust five speed transmission design with internal 3-rail shift system with cast iron shift forks.
-Tapered roller bearings on input, output and counter shafts improve performance (reduced noise factor).
-All gears and shafts made from special grade steel (ASTM 4615) that permits increased torque carrying capacity.
-Single-piece countershaft that better handles increased torque carrying capacity.
-Tremec 5 speed transmission is equipped with a high-performance short-throw billet aluminum shifter that isolates road noise, while providing clean crisp shifts.
-Neutral safety switch and back-up light sensor.
-Dual electronic and mechanical speedometer pick-ups.
-7 tooth internal drive gear

Shifter Note
You will need to either transfer your factory shift handle and shift ball or pick up a new set!

Installation Note
- Input shaft is 26 spline
- Output shaft is 31 spline
- Ford Performance TKO 600 requires bellhousing M-6392-R58 to install in a 1979-95 Mustang
- Ford Performance TKO 600 requires M-5059-A crossmember to fit in a 1979-93 Mustang
- Ford Performance TKO 600 requires you to modify the vehicle crossmember, lengthen driveshaft .625" to fit in a 1994-95 Mustang
