Ford Performance Gen II Coyote Long Block
Give your Coyote swap project the perfect foundation with this Ford Performance Gen II Coyote long block! Ford Performance offers this long block as an alternative for those that don't need a fully dressed engine. You still get the same great Coyote performance in a package that lets you build it your way. The Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) Coyote engine delivers 435 horsepower at 6,500 RPM and 400 ft.-lb at 4,250 RPM using premium fuel. Ford Performance starts off with an aluminum block utilizing cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulk heads for low end strength. High RPM performance is improved with an optimized oil drainback and windage control. This motor is preassembled and comes in with an 11.0:1 compression ratio.
Gen II Coyote Performance
The Gen II Coyote engine is the designation name for the 2015-2017 Mustang Coyote engine. Ford's main focus for the Gen II motor was to let it breathe better. Lessons learned from the Boss 302 engine paved the way for this to happen.

-Larger intake valves
-Larger exhaust valves
-Revised intake camshafts
-Revised exhaust camshafts
-Stiffer valve springs to ensure that the valves close completely at high rpm.
-New cylinder-head casting, including revised ports that provide a straighter path to the valves for less-restrictive intake and exhaust flow and combustion chamber modifications to accommodate larger valves.
-Redesigned piston tops with deeper cutouts to clear the new larger valves.
-Rebalanced forged crankshaft that supports higher-rpm operation
-On the intake side, variable camshaft timing now has mid-lock phasers allowing better control of the valve timing over a broader range of engine.
