The Ford Racing FRPP M-6009-331F BOSS 331 Short Block starts off with the hydraulic roller camshaft compatible, 8.2" deck height, Boss 4-bolt main block, M-6010-BOSS302. It is then stuffed with Mahle forged aluminum 4.125" bore pistons with valve reliefs for Z304, N351, GT-40 and other inline valve Windsor cylinder heads with a 7cc effective dome volume. The pistons are attached to Eagle Forged steel H beam connecting rods with floating pin & swung by an Eagle 3.100" stroke forged steel crank.
The rotating assembly is neutrally balanced. Use of a 50oz or 28oz balancer or flywheel will cause vibrations & engine failure! You must use a neutral balance, or zero balance, balancer & flywheel.
Designed for M-6049-X306//X307/C3/D3/Z304DA cylinder heads, Not designed for production 302/351W or M-6049-Y302/Y303/X302/X303/X304/X305 cylinder heads. Recommended cylinder head fasteners M-6065-BOSS head bolts, M-6014-BOSS studs, or M-6014-Z304 studs, depending on application.

I have been restoring my car for a long time. The engine is a 331 stroker afr 185 heads, trick flow r series intake, 1 3/4 in long tubes with flow master dumps. Sounds awesome and love it every ride. ...
