(1) FRPP BOSS 427 short block
Ford Racing 427ci Short Block
The Ford Racing (FRPP) M-6009-427F Short Block offers up 427 cubic inches of nearly unbreakable power for your Lightning. It starts off with a 9.5" deck height BOSS 4-bolt main block M-6010-BOSS35195 that is roller cam compatible. Then it's stuffed with all forged goodies like SCAT h-beam rods & 4" stroke crank & 4.125" bore 17cc dished MAHLE pistons. The rotating assembly is neutral balanced, so a neutral balance harmonic balancer & flywheel or flexplate will be needed.
Recommended cylinder head fasteners M-6065-BOSS head bolts, M-6014-BOSS studs, or M-6014-Z304 studs, depending on application.
Designed for M-6049-X306//X307/C3/D3/Z304DA & other high flowing large valve cylinder heads intended for use on a 351W.
Not designed for production 302/351W or M-6049-Y302/Y303/X302/X303/X304/X305 cylinder heads.
Short Block is fully assembled. Cylinder heads, cam, timing chain set, oil pan, intake, & other dress & accessories not included.
