Modern Driveline Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Eliminate the outdated clutch cable technology on your 1979-1993 Mustang with this Modern Driveline hydraulic clutch conversion kit! Stretched, frayed, and broken cables are a headache that no Fox owner likes to deal with. You can permanently solve that headache with this all in one kit! Once installed, you'll not only eliminate the old cable setup, but experience reduced pedal effort for a much more enjoyable driving experience!
How It Works
Modern Driveline engineered this kit to be a direct replacement for your original cable set up. A Wilwood master cylinder mounts where the factory cable passed through the firewall. On the opposite side of the firewall, a linear linkage design arm connects the master cylinder to the clutch pedal. This design provides a mechanical advantage that reduces the effort required to operate the clutch. A braided, stainless steel line runs from the master cylinder to the included external slave cylinder. This slave cylinder bolts to your bellhousing near your clutch fork and pushes the fork versus the old cable pull design. Once installed, bled, and adjusted; you're ready to hit the road!
Fitment Note
-Will only fit factory style cast aluminum bell housing.
-Will not fit T-56 Transmission
