Connecting the upper radiator hose to the radiator, this thermostat housing attaches to the lower intake manifold to properly secure the thermostat in place on your 5.0 or 5.8 equipped Mustang. Manufactured from high-quality cast aluminum, this Motorcraft thermostat housing has the correct recess for the thermostat and a smooth gasket mating surface to eliminate irritating coolant leaks. Featuring the correct Ford oval emblem and part number cast into the housing, this housing ensures an identical match to the original. To prevent the upper radiator hose from coming loose, this thermostat housing has the correct flare on the hose end to secure the hose in place. Ensure the engine bay of your Mustang is as original as possible with this Motorcraft thermostat housing!
