S550 Rear Lower Control Arm Bearings
Replace your weak factory bushings with Steeda's 2015-2017 Mustang rear lower control arm bushing kit! When you launch from a dead stop, the factory rear control arm bushings deflect so much that the rear tires can toe inward over 2 degrees. Steeda's replaces those bushings with a spherical style bearing that greatly reduces deflection and wheel hop. Steeda's unique design does NOT increase NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) and maintains a factory ride quality.
Replacing your factory bushings with this spherical bearing replacement kit will eliminate the alignment change under load as well as create more predictable handling. The new design removes suspension bind that allows it to move more freely which will correct understeer under acceleration. This all works together to reduce wheel hop and ensure your tires hook immediately.
Steeda constructs these bearings from 1018-steel for strength and durability. The bearings are then nickel plated to prevent corrosion. The spherical bearings in this kit are Teflon-lined that provides smooth operation and prevents binding. All of this is designed and manufactured in the USA.
