Lowers the vehicle approx 1 inch front, 1 1/4 inch rear. The 05-13 Mustang sits high in the rear. These springs will give it a more aggressive look. High quality lower weight wire for less unsprung weight and less inertia for the best ride quality available. Good improvement in handling and noticeable reduction in nosedive.
Don't forget yourPanhard Bar!
Unfortunately when lowering a 2005-14 Mustang, you will experiences a shift in the rear axle due to the 3-link suspension setup. Once the Mustang has been lowered, the geometry of the suspension pushes your Mustang's axle out to one side. Adding a Mustang Panhard Bar as a lateral suspension link between the rear axle and the Mustang chassis can correct this issue. The simple design precisely controls the side-to-side location of the axle to eliminate rear steer. The unstable and unpredictable feeling typically associated with the Mustang 3-link suspension is gone, making your car safer and easier to drive!
We recently added a couple new suspension kits by Ford Racing and Jarrod could not wait to get one of them on his 2013 Mustang GT. Jarrod went with the nonadjustable Ford Racing 2005-13 Mustang Strut, Shock And Spring Kit. This kit features Ford Racing Shock And Struts, Ford Racing Progressive Rate Lowering Springs (K ... more
I chose these springs for 4 reasons: 1) I wasn't looking to "slam" the car. 2) The spring rates are only slightly higher than stock. 3) They're lighter than stock springs. 4) Steeda makes good stuff. I paired these with Koni adjustables all around and GT500 strut mounts in front. I also added Ford Racing bump stops and a Steeda adjustable panhard bar for good measure. Although I was looking to improve the looks of the car, I was more focused on improving the ride quality. I will say that the Koni's were the big difference maker there, but the spring rate provides a nice compromise between street and performance driving. After a couple weeks of driving, along with a track day at Streets of Willow, it looks like the car has just about settled to its new height; low enough to look the business without a punishing ride around LA streets. I would definitely recommend these springs, but make sure to do it right with a good set of shocks & struts and GT500 strut mounts at the very least.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

After a long debate between these and the eibach pro kit I decided to go with the Steedas. I did not have the brembo package on my 2011 mustang so I had the factory soft ride. After installing these my ride did not change absolutely one bit, in fact I want to say it's better. I also have 275/35/19 on all four and I didn't want to go too low as to cause the front to rub, these springs are perfect, definitely would recommend!
