What’s up fellas? Landan here with LMR.com! Today this video is going to cover my quick review of Flowmaster’s American Thunder catback fitting the 1999 to 2004 Mustang GT and Mach 1.
In the business for the more than thirty years, Flowmaster is committed to delivering the best exhaust products in the industry. Their extensive research and development has produced some of the best mufflers and exhaust systems available for the Mustang.
Where do you even begin when Flowmaster is mentioned? They are a staple not only in the Mustang market, but many others as well. Exhaust shops near and far usually carry some sort of Flowmaster muffler. The reason being, they sound good; especially on a Mustang.
The Flowmaster American Thunder Catback is available in two different finishes. One being a budget-friendly aluminized steel and the other being high quality 409 stainless. Both systems feature two and half inch mandrel bent tubing and exit to a nice set of three inch tips. Installation instructions and clamps are included, and to top off both kits, you a set of iconic super 40 series mufflers.
These Flowmaster American Thunder kits can be installed in your driveway in no time at all. Of course you’ll want to get the car as high as you can since you’ll need plenty of working space. Other than that, you’re probably begging for a sound clip. Project Green Bean features this exact catback, but also has shorty headers paired with an off road x pipe.
Classic, American thunder. Hence the name of the kit! If you guys want to see more videos covering the New Edge Mustang and more on Project Green bean, then hit the subscribe button. While you’re at it head back over to the site and pick up a Flowmaster American Thunder cat back at LMR.com!
