LatemodelRestoration.com's Whipple Supercharged 2013 Mustang GT set out on a mission for the 2013 Texas Mile in Beeville, TX -- 180 MPH. We thought it would be interesting to give you a little behind the scenes look at the work that went into getting Project High Impact ready for The Texas Mile's March 2013 event. We added some new performance parts -- Stainless Works Long Tube Headers, Ford Racing Cobra Jet Throttle Body and a Stifflers driveshaft safety loop. After a little time on the dyno at Central Texas Performance -- our Deep Impact Blue 2013 Mustang GT picked up an extra 60hp.
Watch the video and follow along as Scott sets out to get Project High Impact to 180 MPH.
Texas Mile 2013 saw a Ford GT break the record AGAIN, a scary2,800hp Camaro Crash at 220mph (luckily driver walked away) and plenty of other very fast Mustangs, Corvettes, ZR1s and many more.
