The Ford Mustang is constantly innovating itself to be the most widely popular performance vehicle in the world! The most notable updates with the 2020 Mustang are the introduction of the 2.3L EcoBoost High-Performance Package with an engine putting out 330 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque. Also, with the 2020-year model, it brings out the fastest production Mustang ever made with the 2020 GT500. This model brings out a total of 760 HP and 625 lb-ft of torque from its 5.2-liter V8. high performance package alone adds an additional $4,995 to this model, but brings with it a ton of features:

- Top Speed Of 155 MPH.
- 3.55 Limited-Slip Rear Axle.
- 19” X 9” Machine-Faced Aluminum With Low Gloss Ebony Painted Pockets.
- 255-40R19 Summer Only Tires.
- Active Valve Performance Exhaust.
- Black Painted Strut-Tower Brace.
- Magnetic Colored Exterior Mirrors.
- Magnetic Colored Spoiler.
- Hood Accent Stripe.
- GT Performance Package Front Splitter and Belly Pan.
- Heavy Duty Front Springs.
- Larger Brake Rotors With Four-Piston Fixed Calipers.
- Larger Radiator.
Optional handling package can be purchased as well for an additional $1,995 but requires you to have the $2,000 equipment group 101A package. This handling pack brings in larger stabilizer bars, magneride suspension, and a Torsen limited slip rear differential.
GT/California Special

With the most notable changes being done with the EcoBoost and GT500 packages, the GT only is coming out with minor changes to the packages but the California Special will definitely see some changes such as:
- No longer being offered in Kona Blue but in Velocity Blue.
- Wheel and Stripe package that is offered in the EcoBoost version.

GT500

2020 brought back the GT500 and it will be presented with 760 HP and 625 lb-ft of torque. Being equipped with a 5.2L supercharged cross-plane crank V8 and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This is also a very light performance vehicle with a carbon fiber track pack that includes:
- 20" Wheels
- Instrument Panel
- GT4 Track Wing
- Splitter Wickers
- Adjustable Strut Top Mounts
- Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires - 305/30R20 (Front) And 315/30R20 (Rear)
- Rear Seat Delete
- Recaro Leather-Trimmed Seats With Miko Sueded Inserts
- Wheel Locking Kit
Also, it is worth noting that there is only 1 major change between the 2019 and 2020 Bullitt which is the price! All features remain exactly the same but the 2020 Bullitt has a new starting price of $48,905 so if you’re looking for a Bullitt the best bang for your buck is the 2019 model!

2020 brought in (4) new exterior colors as well as removing (4) from 2019! Also in 2020 (3) new wheel options were off such as:
- 17” Sparkle Silver – Painted Aluminum (standard on 100A)
- 19” X 9” Machine-face Aluminum with Low Gloss Ebony painted pockets included in 2.3L High Performance Package (67E)
- 19” Premium Painted Aluminum (Included in Ecoboost Handling Package – 60H)
Additionally, A mini spare wheel & tire (66W) is available with the 20” premium painted aluminum wheels (649) and the 2.3L High Performance Package (67E). Also, new gray hood stripes are being offered specifically for the 2.3L High Performance Package.

Minor changes have been made to the interior such as the removal of the seatback map pockets to only being available on the Bullitt model. Also, the 6-way passenger seat has been replaced with a 4-way one. The Driver Assist Technology front has been changed by adding Ford Pass Connect on all series/models.
